Soldiers who return from war are always in trouble and must be allowed to overcome the negative effects of their war experience.

Otherwise, the freedoms and dreams for which they have sacrificed will never be realized by the society unto which they have served.

This is a national security issue.

Society owes a debt to its veterans and veterans need to be protected by law from any abuse by society.

This is especially true for those Veterans who have returned home from participation in unpopular wars.

In this respect, soldiers who return from wars against terror are no different than those who have returned home from Viet Nam and other conflicts.

Veterans for John McCain need your Help! 

We've had two Presidents in a row who have served double terms who did basically the same thing: they managed to find something else to do when there was an opportunity to serve in combat.

This is too long for veterans to wait in a country that continues to use men and women as a military extension of its foreign policy, regardless of who's in the White house.

Look at the shape VA hospitals were in for the first wave of returnees from Iraq?

We need a President in the White House who understands  and identifies with the issues that veterans have...with concern to their short-term needs, their longterm needs and the problems that war creates for the nation in treating and giving preference to veterans during overlapping conflicts.
