Like a Long Journey Home

My support of John McCain has been like a long journey home, rediscovering my 'center'.

It's sure revealed to me the Democratic candidates for what and who they are.

I hope by November that the American people will be seeing the Democratic candidates in the same light as I.

Faith, hope and national salvation must become part of the Republican vision and message for the future.

America needs deliverance from its economic woes, as well as from its spiritual shortcomings.

The two go hand-in-hand.

America will never see the one without the other.

It's all about the 'healing' of the Nation.

The alternative could be a possible disintegration and breakup of the country and an economic meltdown if we don't get our house in order.

It's a sad reality...but one that has been predicted within the Republican Party for over 15 years.

Yet, despite the despair, God has again provided the Nation with a reason to hope against that looming possibility.

The question is, what will the American people do this election with their renewed opportunity for national deliverance?

And, I think that this is what Election 2008 is all about: Giving America another chance to choose which way it will go.

That done, personal salvation will be left to individuals to decide.

And, 'the Faith of our Fathers' will have been preserved...
